We went into the city last weekend, for yet ANOTHER visit to the Aquarium. When we got there I saw that Madame Tussauds had opened next door, and as our season tickets also included entrance to there I dragged Austin in to have a look (Lily was fast asleep in the pram by this stage). It was actually pretty cool which completely surprised me, and Austin had a lot of fun with the props, especially the drum set (see video below), but afterwards he said "I didn't really like that, can we go to the Aquarium now". Spoilt...
My sister has a bit of an obsession with Autumn leaves and as we arrived home the other day I noticed that we'd built up quite a huge collection in our front yard. So I got Austin to sit down amongst them and told him to have a bit of fun...the photo quality isn't that great because they were taken on my phone but I still absolutely love them...
The local driving range offers free golf lessons on a Sunday afternoon and we have been meaning to take Austin for ages but something always seemed to come up. We finally made it last Sunday and he absolutely loved it, and was quite good at it, even if I do say so myself...
Ok so I know it doesn't really mean much in the 'lets make sure every kid gets a turn/prize society we live in' but I don't care - look at his face, he is so so proud of himself - and we are so proud of him - well done Scubba. xo
Our little tomboy started ballet lessons the other day and surprisingly she actually loved it - apart from when we had to tie her hair back which always involves masses of tears and tantrums.
She may not be the most graceful dancer but she sure gives it a go, anyway it's all about having fun at this age - and the sticker she gets at the end of course...
Lily's take on 1st position, complete with a little belly grab
We went down to Bundeena the other day and Austin and Lily got to meet their new little baby cousin Zack for the first time.
Of course we had to try and get a picture of the 5 cousins, as you can see from the photos its virtually impossible to get all the kids to smile and look at the camera, and it's only going to get worse as Zack gets older - for now he just sleeps through the whole thing.
